TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: September 5, 2026

OVERVIEW

Welcome to The Reyanne.

The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Reyanne, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 42155728.

The Reyanne operates this website and online store, including the information, content, features, tools, products and related services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). Our online store is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Services and apply to purchases made through our online store.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing or using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with the policies referred to in them, including our Privacy Policy and Return & Exchange Policy.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any mandatory rights that you have as a consumer under applicable Dutch or European Union law.

SECTION 1 — ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF THE SERVICES

You must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to enter into a purchase agreement with us.

When placing an order or otherwise using our Services, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, including your contact, billing, payment and delivery information.

Customers currently place orders as guests and are not required to create a customer account.

You may not use our Services or products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose or in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of The Reyanne or any third party.

SECTION 2 — PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions, materials, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, the appearance of colours and other visual characteristics may vary depending on your screen, device settings, lighting and other technical factors.

Where a product contains handmade, artisanal or naturally variable elements, minor variations between individual items may occur where these variations are inherent to the nature or production of the product. Such variations do not affect any statutory rights you may have if a product does not conform to the contract.

Product availability is subject to stock.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products and collections and to change product information prospectively. Changes will not affect orders already concluded except where required by law or agreed with you.

SECTION 3 — ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION

By submitting an order through our website, you offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms.

After you place an order, you may receive an electronic confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order.

A purchase agreement is concluded when we accept your order and confirm the purchase in accordance with our checkout and order confirmation process.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including suspected fraud, payment failure, incorrect or incomplete information, product unavailability, or an obvious pricing or technical error.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the relevant amount in accordance with applicable law.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it.

Any statutory right to cancel or withdraw from your purchase remains unaffected.

SECTION 4 — PRICES, VAT AND PAYMENT

All prices displayed on our website are stated in euros (€).

Prices displayed to consumers will include VAT (BTW) and other mandatory taxes where applicable, in accordance with applicable law.

Any delivery charges or other additional charges that cannot reasonably be included in the product price will be clearly disclosed before you place your order.

The total amount payable will be shown during checkout before you confirm your purchase.

The payment methods available at checkout may include iDEAL, Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay, subject to availability and the terms of the relevant payment provider.

Available payment methods may change from time to time.

You must be authorised to use the payment method selected for your purchase.

Prices, promotions and discounts may change from time to time. Any change will not affect an order that has already been concluded at the applicable confirmed price.

Where a price is clearly incorrect as a result of an obvious typographical, technical or other error, we reserve the right to correct the error and, where permitted by applicable law, cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid.

SECTION 5 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

The Reyanne currently sells and delivers products within the European Union, subject to the delivery destinations available at checkout.

Available delivery methods, applicable shipping charges and estimated delivery times will be communicated through our website and/or during checkout.

Delivery times are estimates unless we expressly agree to a specific guaranteed delivery date.

Events outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect delivery. Where this occurs, we will handle the situation in accordance with applicable consumer law.

For consumer orders, The Reyanne remains responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a third party designated by you, except where applicable law provides otherwise, including where you independently appoint a carrier that was not offered by us.

If your order is lost or damaged before delivery, please contact us at support@the-reyanne.com so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with your legal rights.

SECTION 6 — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

Detailed information about returns, return costs, refunds, damaged or defective products and the return procedure is provided in our Return & Exchange Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Where you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by you where you were informed of this obligation before purchasing.

Nothing in these Terms or our Return & Exchange Policy limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

SECTION 7 — CONFORMITY AND LEGAL GUARANTEE

Products sold by The Reyanne must conform to the purchase agreement and meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.

If a product is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the agreement, you may have statutory rights to an appropriate remedy.

These rights exist independently of your statutory right of withdrawal and cannot be excluded by these Terms.

If you believe that you have received a defective or non-conforming product, please contact us at support@the-reyanne.com with your order details and information regarding the issue.

SECTION 8 — PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS

We may offer promotions, discount codes or other promotional offers from time to time.

Specific promotions may be subject to additional conditions communicated with the relevant offer.

Promotions and discounts may not be combined unless expressly stated otherwise.

Purchasing a product at a reduced or promotional price does not remove any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers.

SECTION 9 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, including The Reyanne name and branding, logos, product presentation, text, graphics, photographs, videos, designs and other original content, are owned by or licensed to The Reyanne and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use our website for personal and non-commercial purposes.

Without our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, commercially exploit, republish, modify or otherwise use protected content from our website except where permitted by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks, names and other intellectual property displayed through the Services remain the property of their respective owners.

SECTION 10 — REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT

Where our website allows you to submit a product review, photograph, feedback or other content, you remain responsible for the content you submit.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, infringing, fraudulent or that violates the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of another person.

By submitting content for publication through our Services, you grant The Reyanne a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content for purposes connected with operating, promoting and improving our business and Services, subject to applicable law.

We reserve the right to moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, including where it violates these Terms or applicable law.

SECTION 11 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our Services may include functionality, applications, payment services, links or other services provided by third parties.

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by the terms and privacy policies of the relevant third-party provider.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control. However, nothing in this section excludes any responsibility that The Reyanne has under mandatory consumer law in relation to your purchase from us.

SECTION 12 — SHOPIFY

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce technology that enables us to offer the Services.

Products purchased through our store are sold by The Reyanne, not Shopify. Your purchase agreement is therefore with The Reyanne.

Shopify may process certain personal information in connection with providing its services. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy and Shopify's applicable privacy documentation.

SECTION 13 — PRIVACY AND COOKIES

Our collection and processing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies, pixels and similar technologies is subject to our privacy and cookie practices and, where required, your consent choices.

Please review the Privacy Policy and the cookie preference controls available through our website for further information.

SECTION 14 — PROHIBITED USES

You must not use the website or Services:

  • for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

  • to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of another person;

  • to transmit malicious software, viruses or harmful code;

  • to obtain unauthorised access to our website, systems or data;

  • to collect personal information about other users unlawfully;

  • to send spam or unsolicited communications through our Services;

  • to impersonate another person or provide deliberately false information;

  • to interfere with the security, operation or functionality of the website; or

  • to scrape, copy or commercially exploit substantial parts of the Services without authorisation where such activity is prohibited by applicable law.

We may take reasonable measures to protect our Services against prohibited or abusive activity.

SECTION 15 — ERRORS AND AVAILABILITY

Despite reasonable efforts, our website may occasionally contain typographical errors, technical errors, inaccurate information or temporary availability issues.

We may correct such errors and update information where necessary.

Where an error affects an order that has already been placed, we will act in accordance with applicable law and will not use this provision to remove mandatory rights that you have as a consumer.

SECTION 16 — LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

In particular, nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the above, The Reyanne is not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable consequences of our breach, or for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you use the Services for purposes unrelated to your capacity as a consumer, different legal rules may apply.

SECTION 17 — FORCE MAJEURE

We will not be responsible for a failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from circumstances outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Such circumstances may include serious disruptions to transport networks, natural disasters, governmental measures, major technical failures, strikes or other comparable events beyond our reasonable control.

Where such circumstances materially affect your order, we will inform you where reasonably possible and handle any resulting rights or remedies in accordance with applicable law.

SECTION 18 — SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF WEBSITE ACCESS

We may suspend or restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or where a user materially violates these Terms.

Termination or restriction of website access does not affect rights and obligations arising from purchase agreements already concluded, including your statutory consumer rights.

SECTION 19 — SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law or, where necessary, be treated as severed.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

SECTION 20 — NO WAIVER

If we do not immediately exercise or enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we waive that right.

SECTION 21 — GOVERNING LAW AND CONSUMER RIGHTS

These Terms and purchase agreements with The Reyanne are governed by Dutch law.

If you are a consumer residing in another European Union Member State, this choice of Dutch law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections granted to you by the law of your country of residence where such protections apply.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in accordance with applicable Dutch and European Union rules on jurisdiction.

We encourage you to contact us first at support@the-reyanne.com if you have a complaint or dispute so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.

SECTION 22 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.

The current version will be published on our website together with the date of the latest update.

Changes to these Terms will not retroactively alter a purchase agreement already concluded unless permitted by law or expressly agreed with you.
